Sanctus1 is a community of people who gather together to discover more about Christ, culture and community. Sanctus1 seeks to push at the boundaries; exploring God and spirituality within the city, in contemporary film and art, and within each other.

Sanctus1 is committed to the city centre community of Manchester. The dynamic nature of the city centre reflects the people that we are; a fluid organic community that believes that the creative spirit of God is active and moving in culture.

At the heart of Sanctus1 is the midweek group. This group meets on Wedensday night at 7:30 in Nexus. Nexus is open from 6:30 and you can either buy some food or bring your own.

There are also two Sunday services. At 4pm on the second sunday of each month we run Sanctus2nds - an intergeneration service at Sacred Trinity. On the fourth Sunday of the month there is an altenative worship service also in Sacred Trinity Church.

Sanctus1 is supported by both the Anglican and Methodist Churches in Manchester and is part of the national Fresh Expressions initiative.
