Whit weekend
Another bank holiday is upon us, and with the usual sense of meterological timing, the weather is due to break on Saturday evening.
Is anyone planning / was anyone planning anything exciting? Or maybe we are all intending to celebrate the Festival of Pentecost or the olde Englishe tradition of Whit...?
A thought: maybe the celebrant on Penntecost Sunday should wear traditional robes of Goretex.

I'm barbecuing tonight. Tomorrow we're taking my godson and his brother to monkey forest at Trentham Gardens. Sunday, hopefully seeing my sister's new flat. And on Monday we're doing Something Nice - possibly going for a walk.
Don't say I never make good use of my time!
